Casares, one of the most photographed villages in Spain, is a picture postcard village perched on the side of a precipitous sandstone buttress 15km from the beach and is known as the “hanging village”.

This vibrant & historic village will give you a real Spanish experience, nestling in the hillside with its white painted ‘sugar cube’ houses interlaced by narrow cobbled streets. You will also find a good selection of shops and exceptional restaurants closeby to further enhance the Spanish flavour of your stay here.

The area is reknown for its beauty and wildlife. Eagles are known to frequent the mountains around Casares and the area is one of the main migration routes over to Africa especially for birds of prey; being the shortest crossing via Gibraltar. Kestrels, peregrines and falcons can also be observed.

The beautifully reformed house to rent is in the centre of the village, and comprises a large entrance hall, leading into a spacious TV room. On the first floor there is a large open plan kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The second floor contains 3 bedrooms and a further bathroom. The third floor a utility room, outside covered terrace with spectacular views of North Africa and the Moroccan coast. On top of the utility room is a further spectacular viewing terrace. All rooms with h/c air-conditioning. English satellite television provided in both the dining and lounge areas.

Swimming pool, tennis court, parking, shops and good restaurants are nearby.
